At Studio50 we understand that changing your career can be difficult when you have other commitments that do now allow you to study every day of the week. This is why we have created our Foundation Part-time Makeup course, to allow you to study all that is on offer in our Professional Foundation Makeup Course, just one day a week. Spread across five weeks, you will be required to attend the course on Sundays only, making learning the skills you need to start working successfully as a makeup artist easy to fit in around your other commitments.
You will study at a vibrant and diverse campus – The Art Works – based in the London borough of Elephant and Castle, home of the best makeup courses London. Here you will learn everything you need to work as a professional make-up artist, in a fun and exciting environment with like-minded people.
Our tutors have had impressively successful careers in the industry, and they are keen to pass on their knowledge, built over years of hard work in dynamic and exciting careers. The Studio50 tutors are well known in the industry, and are passionate about inspiring the next generation of male-up artists. You will have the chance to work closely with them and learn all that you can, in an intimate class size of just eight students.
All along the seven weeks of the Part-time Makeup course, you will learn everything you need to work successfully as a makeup artist. This will include: 21st century techniques, using the latest innovations, how to use colour, shaping of the eyes and face, using and choosing products and tools, hygiene and skin prep, how to create vintage looks from decades gone by, makeup for photography and film, makeup for current trends and much much more.
In addition we also provide you with a full aftercare service, to help you start to secure your first contracts working as a makeup artist. We know that this industry can be competitive, so we help you prepare your kit and your portfolio, as well as giving you opportunities to gain some hands-on experience and see how professional makeup artists work.

Makeup School London
At the end of the course you will have all of the relevant skills that you need to work as a professional makeup artist. You will learn fundamental techniques as well as more advanced and focused skills, to give you the knowledge that you need to work in a variety of settings as a makeup artist – from makeup for individual clients, to editorial and commercial shoots.
